Dr. Edward J. Shin is a board certified Ear, Nose and Throat specialist and Chairman of the Department of Otolaryngology at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai. He also serves as Professor of Clinical Otolaryngology at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Shin is an accomplished sinus surgeon and thyroid specialist who earned his medical degree from Stanford School of Medicine and completed his advanced residency training at the University of California in San Francisco. He was the recipient of numerous scholarships and honors during his academic and professional careers including receiving the Teacher of the Year Award from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine.
