About Me
Dr. Eliana Ajodan is an Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and an Attending Psychologist at the Child and Family Institute and Adult Outpatient Department at Mount Sinai Morningside. She is the Director of Psychological Testing at Mount Sinai Morningside, where she conducts and oversees comprehensive psychological evaluations for children, adolescents, and adults, and is involved in clinical training, teaching, and supervision. Dr. Ajodan received her Ph.D. from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Dr. Ajodan also provides psychological treatment to youth and adults in her faculty practice. She specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, and related emotional, behavioral, and academic difficulties. She integrates cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) with relational and developmentally informed approaches to best support the individuals and families with whom she works. In addition to individual treatment, she provides parenting interventions as well as school-related consultation.
