About Me
Dr. Elizabeth Fung has practiced Internal Medicine since 2012. After graduating with her Master's degree from Columbia University School of Engineering, Dr. Fung completed her medical studies at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She then went on to her Internal Medicine residency with Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. With her certification by the American Osteopathic Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Fung specializes in blood pressure, cholesterol, diabetes, and weight loss consulting. Additionally, Dr. Fung is fluent in both English and Cantonese, and proficient in Spanish.
Prior to joining medicine, Dr. Fung had a successful career in the Telecommunications Industry and got into the medical field by way of electrical engineering. In recent years, she has taught as an Assistant Professor at Hofstra Northwell School of Medicine and has become a member of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
When practicing medicine, Dr. Fung believes that the doctor/patient relationship is collaborative and advices her patients to always ask questions. Outside of her time in the office, Dr. Fung enjoys traveling, playing piano, and reading.
