Elizabeth H Milbank, MD
Elizabeth Milbank, MD, MPH is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Environmental Medicine and Public Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and a clinician at the World Trade Center Health Program at Mount Sinai. With a background in obstetrics and gynecology, Dr. Milbank is deeply committed to caring for underserved populations, especially women. Her research and clinical work is focused on maternal and child health, including pregnancy and work, breastfeeding, obesity and nutrition, and environmental health.
Dr. Milbank currently develops curriculum and teaches in the medical school and the Master’s in Public Health Program, with a focus on lifestyle medicine and health promotion strategies. She participates in wellness initiatives for faculty, staff, and students at Mount Sinai. She also serves as board chair for LIFT- New York, a national anti-poverty organization.
