Dr. Emilio Garcia joined Mount Sinai Palm Beach as a Cardiologist in 2021. After completing his undergraduate studies at the University of Miami, Dr. Garcia earned his medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch. Upon finishing his Internal Medicine residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, Dr. Garcia completed two fellowships at the University of Florida in Cardiology and Interventional Cardiology, respectively. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine and Nuclear Cardiology, Dr. Garcia specializes in the medical and minimally invasive treatments of coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, and structural heart disease. Additionally, Dr. Garcia can communicate with his patients in both English and Spanish.
In his professional community, Dr. Garcia belongs to several medical organizations, including the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Association, and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He has conducted extensive research in the field of cardiology, especially during his time in training at the University of Florida, and has presented his work at several professional events in the Florida area.
