About Me
Emily L. Siegel, MD is a board-certified breast surgical oncologist committed to compassionate, comprehensive care for patients with both benign and malignant breast conditions. Dr. Siegel specializes in advanced breast surgery techniques and the newest approaches to treatment. Her research focuses on clinical outcomes from breast cancer and oncologic health in the LGBTQ+ community.
Dr. Siegel earned her MD from the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California (USC). She completed residency training in General Surgery at Cedars Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles and a fellowship in Breast Surgical Oncology at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa. Prior to joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Siegel was on the faculty at USC, where she served as Assistant Professor of Clinical Surgery, Associate Program Director of the Breast Surgical Oncology Fellowship program, and Director of the Surgery Clerkship for the medical school.
