Dr. Emmanuel Francis graduated from the University of the West Indies with first-class honors. He holds certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine in Internal Medicine, Geriatric Medicine and Obesity Medicine.
As a dedicated practitioner, Dr. Francis has been actively involved in various professional organizations, including the American Geriatrics Society (AGS), American College of Physicians (ACP), and the American Medical Association (AMA).
With a wealth of clinical experience, Dr. Francis has served in diverse medical settings. Previously, he worked as an Attending Physician in Geriatric Medicine at Kings County Hospital/NYC Health and Hospitals in Brooklyn, NY. This role involved providing outpatient adult and geriatric primary care to an underserved community. Dr. Francis also served as a preceptor/mentor to internal medicine residents and geriatric medicine fellows.
Dr. Francis' journey includes a Geriatric Medicine Fellowship at New York University (NYU) Langone Hospital and a residency in Internal Medicine at SUNY Downstate Medical Center. He has been actively engaged in research, contributing to peer-reviewed journal articles and presenting posters and oral presentations at various conferences.
In addition to his medical pursuits, Dr. Francis has diverse interests, including photography, table tennis, gardening, and health advocacy for minority groups, particularly in LGBTQ+ healthcare.

The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Dr. Francis was very thorough and clear. Made suggestions for my health, and took an interest in me as a patient.

He sees that I get the proper care he's concerned and he always has a lengthy discussion about any proposed treatments and the options risk and benefits. We're going to a doctor is not always scary, but it is a very learning experience and helpful experience when having an examination about Dr. Francis
