Dr. Erica Igbinoghene is a graduate of Binghamton University, where she obtained a Bachelors of Science in Biology in 2004. After graduating, she worked in the nutraceutical industry for 3 years as a Regulatory Affairs Associate. She graduated from the University of Virginia School of Medicine in 2014, and completed her residency training in Emergency Medicine at Albany Medical Center in 2017. She joined the Mount Sinai Health System later on that year, and plays an active role in the Mount Sinai Queens Emergency Department. She co-runs the bi-monthly Emergency Medicine-Internal Medicine Joint Conference, and is the Mount Sinai Queens' representative for the Mount Sinai Health System's Diversity Committee. She is also an avid volunteer at the annual Mount Sinai Queens Health Fair.
