About Me
Erika Ryan, MD, is a board certified obstetrician-gynecologist and hospitalist at The Mount Sinai Hospital in the Raquel and Jaime Gilinski Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Science at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Ryan focuses on general obstetrics and gynecology, with special interest in abnormal uterine bleeding, uterine fibroids, minimally invasive gynecologic surgery and family planning.
Before joining Mount Sinai, Dr. Ryan served as an attending physician at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Health and as a clinical assistant professor in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. Dr. Ryan earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons in New York City. She completed her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at New York University Langone Health, where she served as Chief Resident for Research and Quality Improvement, as Chief Resident for Education, and was Resident Research Leader in Global Health.
Dr. Ryan is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
