Because physicians insurance participation can change, the insurance information on this page may not always be up-to-date. Insurance and health plan networks that the various Mount Sinai Health System hospitals and facilities participate in can be found on the Mount Sinai Health System website.

Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.

Dr. Choo is superb. I would recommend him to anybody.

Incredible. Dr. Choo answered all of my questions in detail. He showed me all of the options he was considering and explained the decision making process behind each one of them when I asked. He gave me a helpful guide so I could read about how to take care of my allergies myself in the future (which really helps if I forget things said during the appointment). As I said in my previous note (commending the first assistant/nurse who helped me), I have a family member who works in hospital administration and I told him that my visit with you guys should be the model of how medical care is done. I really felt in control of my choices and the course of action that we decided on together. He treated me like a human and not as a medical object of study. I felt very valued. Really really really great work Dr. Choo!

Very good
