About Me
Dr. Evelyn Icasiano is a board-certified ophthalmologist providing a broad spectrum of comprehensive eye care with special interests in cataract surgery and laser vision correction refractive surgery.

She graduated from Rutgers University with honors. She then went on to earn her medical degree at the Chicago Medical School. Upon graduation she completed an internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincent Hospital in New York followed by her residency training in Ophthalmology at the Cook County Hospital in Chicago.
Following her residency training, she continued her training with a subspecialty fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is currently an adjunct attending physician at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. She has been recognized as a "Rising Star" in Ophthalmology by New York Super Doctors for consecutive years since 2013.
She participated in a medical mission to the Philippines in early 2015 helping to bring ophthalmology services to over 1000 people in the underserved provinces of Agdangan in Quezon and Borongan in Eastern Samar.
Dr. Icasiano is proficient in Spanish.
