About Me
Felipe Serrano MD, is an Attending Physician at Mount Sinai Morningside and Mount Sinai West. He is also Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He serves as an Assistant Program Director for the St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Emergency Medicine Residency.
Dr. Serrano received his degree in medicine from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He completed his residency in Emergency Medicine at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee where he was awarded by the medical students for his teaching.
Prior to joining Mount Sinai, he was an Assistant Professor at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx where he was deeply involved with resident development and was twice awarded the teaching award by the residency program.
His interests include resident education, the role of technology in patient care and education and social determinants of health.
