About Me
	Dr. Felix Kuo, M.D., FAAD, is a double board-certified Associate Physician of Dermatology at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine and one of Long Island’s leading experts in surgical and cosmetic dermatology.  A Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology and a Founding Member of the American Board of Medical Specialties, Dr. Kuo specializes in Mohs micrographic surgery for basal and squamous cell carcinoma, as well as excisional procedures for benign skin lesions. He has a special interest in reconstructive surgery, with a focus on achieving optimal aesthetic outcomes for his patients.
	Acclaimed for his work in cosmetic dermatology, Dr. Kuo is known for delivering natural-looking results using advanced techniques. His approach includes the precise use of Botox, dermal fillers, and lasers to rejuvenate the face without an overdone appearance. His scientific background and clinical expertise enable him to carefully select the safest and most effective treatment options for each individual.
	Dr. Kuo’s knowledge spans all areas of dermatology. He has trained residents in medical, surgical, and cosmetic dermatology, authored numerous scientific publications, and lectured at national dermatologic conferences. He has also participated in clinical trials for innovative cosmetic devices and remains active in continuing education, regularly attending conferences that highlight the latest advancements in dermatologic science and technology.
	Dr. Kuo graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his internship in Internal Medicine at Lenox Hill Hospital, followed by a Dermatology residency at Boston Medical Center, where he served as Academic Chief Resident. He went on to complete a prestigious fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco.
