About Me
Dr. Fernando Segovia has practiced Cardiology for over 30 years. After graduating from the University of Monterrey School of Medicine in Mexico, Dr. Segovia moved to New York Medical College for his residency and fellowship in Internal Medicine and Cardiology, respectively. He then completed his training with a fellowship in Interventional Cardiology at Lincoln Hospital Medical Center. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, Interventional Cardiology, and Venous & Lymphatic Medicine, Dr. Segovia has expertise in cardiovascular disease, vein diseases, acute coronary syndromes, hypertension, radiofrequency ablation, and sclerotherapy. Additionally, Dr. Segovia is bilingual and can communicate with patients in both English and Spanish.
In his professional community, Dr. Segovia holds Fellowship status in the American College of Cardiology and has been named on the Healthgrades Honor Roll. He has also served as Instructor of Medicine at New York Medical College.
