Fiona Desland is a current MD/PhD student in the NEU multidisciplinary training area at the Graduate School of Biomedical Sciences at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Fiona is a member of the Merad Laboratory where she focuses on characterizing how regional microglial dysregulation affects brain development and cancer progression.
Fiona graduated from the Univeristy of Florida in 2011 with a BS in Microbiology and Cell Science.
