Dr. Gabriel Castillo began practicing as a Gastroenterologist in 2024 and joined Mount Sinai in the same year. After completing his undergraduate studies at Columbia University, Dr. Castillo earned his medical degree from Columbia's College of Physicians and Surgeons. He then completed both his Internal Medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship at New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Castillo is board certified in Internal Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and board eligible in Gastroenterology. His clinical interests include colorectal cancer screening, GERD, IBS, constipation, diarrhea, and upper and lower gastrointestinal bleeding.
