About Me
Dr. George Romar is a dedicated dermatologist with a passion for treating disorders of the skin and hair. A native of the Houston area, he received his bachelor's degree from Rice University. He then attended Harvard Medical School in Boston, where he conducted extensive laboratory research in severe allergic drug rashes and graduated magna cum laude with his medical doctorate.
Dr. Romar completed an internship in internal medicine at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, followed by a residency in dermatology at Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx. Dr. Romar is excited to care for patients with dermatologic concerns at locations in Harlem and in the Bronx, where he also serves as the regional medical director.
Dr. Romar's clinical expertise includes adult general dermatology with special interests in allergic rashes and various types of alopecia. Outside of the clinic, Dr. Romar enjoys live theater, personal fitness, exploring new restaurants, and working on innovative projects.
