About Me
Dr. Gladys Frankel joined Mount Sinai Concierge Care in 2023 as a licensed psychologist. After earning her undergraduate degree from Pitzer College, Dr. Frankel completed her Ph.D. at Columbia University. She then completed a National Institute of Health Fellowship, followed by an internship at Bellevue/New York University. Dr. Frankel finished her training with her fellowship at Weill Cornell and has been practicing as a psychologist for over three decades.
In her professional community, Dr. Frankel is a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists. Her clinical interests include focusing on human potential, longevity and aging well, optimal mind and physical fitness, and stress & relationship management.
Dr. Frankel is also involved in academia. She currently serves as a faculty physician at The Icahn School of Medicine of Mount Sinai and gives an annual lecture presentation to Psychiatry Fellows at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth. Additionally, she is a former faculty member of the Weill Cornell College of Medicine. Dr. Frankel has also been published in prestigious medical journals, including in the American Journal of Psychiatry for her case review, "An Adolescent With Anorexia Nervosa and Gastrointestinal Stromal Tumors."
