About Me
Grace Ferguson-Pell, CNM, WHNP, RN, is a certified nurse midwife providing comprehensive reproductive health care to patients, with special interest in contraception and family planning, trauma-informed care, and well-woman gynecology.
Grace’s passion for midwifery began during her undergraduate years at Wheaton College, where she volunteered at a prenatal clinic in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from New York University College of Nursing in 2013 and gained extensive experience as a labor and delivery nurse at New York-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital before joining The Mount Sinai Hospital in 2016. Grace earned her Master of Science in Nurse-Midwifery from Yale School of Nursing in 2020.
After practicing as a midwife at BronxCare Health System for two years, Grace moved to NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem in 2023, where she became instrumental in developing a new midwifery service to expand access to high-quality midwifery care in the community.
Grace is committed to evidence-based and patient-centered practice and is dedicated to advancing equitable, culturally responsive care and advocating for improved reproductive health services.
Ms. Ferguson-Pell is a member of the American College of Nurse Midwives and the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
