Dr. Ashmead is a skilled, well-rounded high-risk pregnancy subspecialist. He also possesses special expertise in obstetric ultrasound for evaluation and diagnosis. From 1988 until 2006, he was a maternal-fetal medicine specialist at the Fetal Diagnostic Center at MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland. Dr. Ashmead is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology, and in the maternal-fetal medicine subspecialty. He earned his medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine, received residency training at Magee-Women’s Hospital in Pittsburgh, and completed his maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the University of Vermont College of Medicine.
