About Me
Dr. Grenye O’Malley graduated from NYU School of Medicine where she was inducted into the honor society Alpha Omega Alpha. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Endocrinology at Mount Sinai. During her residency and fellowship training, Dr. O’Malley has been involved in multiple research projects in Endocrinology. She presented her research at multiple conferences and was the winner of the 2018 Helmsley Charitable Trust Abstract Award in Type 1 Diabetes. As a fellow and faculty member, Dr. O’Malley has research interests in improving the treatment of the diabetic emergency, diabetes technologies, and management of diabetes during pregnancy. She is currently participating in multiple large clinical trials involving type 1 diabetes technologies including a closed loop artificial pancreas study, a first of its kind assessment of decision support algorithms for patients using multiple daily injections, and analysis of diabetes technologies used during pregnancy.
