About Me
Dr. Haran Ratna began practicing as an Internist in 2023 and joined Mount Sinai Doctors in the same year. After completing his undergraduate studies at CUNY Brooklyn College, Dr. Ratna earned his medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Ratna then earned his Master's in Public Health from SUNY Downstate Medical Center before pursuing his residency in Internal Medicine with Mount Sinai. He spent his first year of residency at Elmhurst, followed by James J Peters Bronx Veteran Affairs for the remainder of his training. With his board certification by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Dr. Ratna's clinical interests include general internal medicine and primary care, as well as public health policy.
In addition to his clinical role, Dr. Ratna has an extensive history of research. His work has been published in several prestigious journals including the Stanford Journal of Public Health, Population Health Management, the Journal of Hospital Management and Health Policy, and Harvard Public Health Review.
