About Me

Dr. Harmandeep Singh began practicing as a vascular surgeon in 2011 and joined Mount Sinai South Nassau in 2012. After completing his undergraduate studies at Montgomery Guru Nanak Public School in India, Dr. Singh earned his medical degree from Baba Farid University of Health Sciences. He then pursued his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at Brookdale University Hospital Medical Center where he served as chief resident in his final year. To finish his training, Dr. Singh completed his fellowship in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of Buffalo. As a double board certified physician in General Surgery and Vascular Surgery, Dr. Singh's clinical interests include peripheral arterial disease, carotid disease, and aortic aneurysms. Additionally, Dr. Singh is multilingual and can communicate with his patients in English, Hindi, Urdu, and Punjabi.

In his professional community, Dr. Singh is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and an Associate Professor at The Icahn School of Medicine. In December 2023, Dr. Singh's work, titled "Staged triple endovascular approach for repair of aortocaval fistula secondary to ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm," was published in the Journal of Vascular Surgery Cases, Innovations and Techniques.
