About Me
Dr. Heather Giambo is an attending physician in the Pediatric Emergency Department and Pediatric Short Stay Unit at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Dr. Giambo attended Boston University School of Medicine and graduated in 2009. Dr. Giambo completed her Pediatrics residency at Georgetown University in 2012 and her Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship at Akron Children's Hospital in 2015. During her fellowship, she held the faculty title of Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at Northeast Ohio Medical University. Dr. Giambo joined the Pediatric Emergency Medicine faculty at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in 2015 and holds the title of Assistant Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Dr. Giambo's clinical and research interest is in the use of technology and electronic medical records to improve patient care and patient experience.
