She began her career treating HIV, added Tx of HCV, eventually moving exclusively into hepatology. She worked MSH Liver transplant 2006-2011 and has been back at Mount Sinai, in the Institute for Liver Medicine, since 2016
She is quite proud to say she was one of the 5 founding "fathers" of the first NYC Hep C Task Force - the South Bronx Hepatitis C task force - established in 2003 - since expanding to all boros of NYC
