About Me
Dr. H Charles Pfaff is a board-certified radiologist with over 20 years of experience, specializing in Diagnostic Radiology as an Assistant Attending at Mount Sinai/Beth Israel Medical Center, an Associate Attending at Mount Sinai/St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital and an Associate Adjunct at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary.
Dr. Pfaff also holds teaching appointments as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Radiology at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai.
Dr. Pfaff graduated from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor of Science in Biology.
He received his medical degree from the University of North Carolina where he received a Merit Award for Scholastic Achievement.
Dr. Pfaff stayed at the University of North Carolina for an Internal Medicine internship and was named Outstanding Intern for his year.
Following internship, Dr. Pfaff completed his postgraduate residency in Diagnostic Radiology at Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center where he was chosen Chief Resident.
Dr. Pfaff completed a subspecialty fellowship in Neuroradiology theNeurological Institute of Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
After his training, Dr. Pfaff was the Medical Director at Columbia Presbyterian Eastside office from 1994 to 2002. He was then hired by Beth Israel Medical Center and was the Medical Director for New York Radiology Associates from 2000 to 2012.
