About Me
Dr. Herman P. Lam is an Otolarynglogist and facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, one of the oldest medical specialties in the country. Otolaryngologists are physicians uniquely trained in the surgical and medical treatment of patients with disorders and diseases of ear, nose, throat (ENT), and related structures of the of the head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENT physicians.
Dr. Lam is no stranger to high standard with an Ivy League educated at Cornell University and a medical education from Tufts University. He completed a highly competitive and sought-after residency training in Otolaryngology/Head & Neck Surgery. Following residency, he was among an elite group selected for a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery.
One important element of a great physician is keeping abreast with current research and even conducting some firsthand. Dr. Lam has been involved in research throughout his academic career. He has presented at national and international medical meetings. He has also been published in prestigious and internationally recognized medical journals.
Dr. Lam philosophy of striving to give patients a natural, non-surgical look. Dr. Lam feels that as a Facial Plastic Surgeon, it is imperative to be a diligent student of facial anatomy. This allows a single individual to guide the patient through a process of how to maximize aesthetic with both surgical and non-surgical procedures.
