About Me
Hetal Patel, DO, is an Assistant Professor in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. She is a board certified pediatrician working at Mount Sinai Union Square.
Dr. Patel received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Alabama. She attended medical school at Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in Georgia and completed her pediatric residency at Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip, NY.
Having always had a passion for teaching, Dr. Patel has carried that over into her clinical practice with her patients and their families. She finds it rewarding to watch her patients grow up and flourish, while utilizing the tools she’s provided for them to stay healthy over the years.
Clinical Focus:
Dr. Patel’s clinical foci includes preventative care, annual physicals, well child care, immunizations, acute illness care, mental health screening, asthma, developmental screening, obesity screening and management, nutrition counseling, and ear wax cleaning.
