Patient Experience Star Ratings and Comments
The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
Care Provider’s Explanation
Care Provider’s Concern
Likelihood to Recommend Care Provider
Dr Poor is thoroughly engaged in my non-typical case and is helping me navigate my comorbidities to achieve my best quality of life
I can't express in words how truly grateful I am for such excellent care. I am supremely confident that I receive the best care possible from Dr. Poor. His expertise and compassion are unmatched in my opinion. [...]
I can't say enough good things about my experience with Dr. Poor. He had done his homework based on my previous visit and chart. He had specific observations, comments, and recommendations. He engaged with me very easily, which facilitated an exchange of information that benefited us both. I'm merely an educated--albeit highly analytical--consumer, not a medical professional, but he was receptive to my detailed data and my work using AI to analyze my problem. And he was eager to hear more about my ongoing care and condition. This is what medical care at the highest level ought to be like. He's clearly very knowledgeable in the field, took the time to study and understand my specific, somewhat unusual situation, and tailored his recommendations and communication accordingly. There's no guarantee that I will improve substantially, but I'm not bad off now and I couldn't be more satisfied with Dr. Poor's excellent care.
