About Me

Dr. Hysem Eldik, M.D. is a dermatologist and assistant professor at Mount Sinai. Dr. Eldik completed both his residency in dermatology, and internship in internal medicine, at Duke University. He received his medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and his undergraduate degree from Stony Brook University. Dr. Eldik welcomes all patients, practices a patient-centered approach to care, and works hard to find a plan that best meets your needs.

Dr. Eldik treats a broad range of general dermatology including mole checks, skin checks, skin cancer screening exams, acne, eczema, psoriasis, hair loss, excessive sweating, melasma and nail issues. He also specializes in cosmetic dermatology and uses advanced techniques in achieving a natural aesthetic with neuromodulators like Botox and Dysport, soft tissue fillers such as Juvederm, Restylane, Voluma, chemical peels, dermaplaning and lasers. He is passionate about developing a custom skin care regimen that optimizes healthy skin.

With the Cynergy laser, Dr. Eldik can treat a vast array of vascular disorders such as port-wine birthmarks, rosacea, facial capillaries, spider leg veins, red stretch marks, hemangioma and warts. With the Clear and Brilliant laser, he can rejuvenate skin by treating wrinkles, uneven skin pigmentation, sun damage and melasma. He also provides laser hair removal.

He has published multiple articles in peer-reviewed journals, conducted basic science and clinical research and received honors and scholarships. His current project includes co-writing a textbook chapter on the clinical application of neuromodulators on the lower face. He is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology, American Society of Dermatologic Surgery and American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
