About Me
Dr. Cohen is a gastroenterology attending in the Division of Digestive Diseases at The Mount Sinai Hospital as well as an Assistant Clinical Professor in the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He specializes in general gastroenterology and hepatology. His current research passions are in quality assurance and performance improvement focused on improving colorectal cancer screening rates in the NY- metropolitan area. Before joining the faculty at Mount Sinai Doctors, he completed his gastroenterology fellowship, chief residency and internal medicine residency at Nassau University Medical Center in East Meadow, NY. He also previously served as an academic hospitalist in the Division of Hospital Medicine at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. Dr. Cohen received his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine and concentrated in Biopsychology & Cognitive Science and Economics at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor.
