About Me
Indrajit Majumdar, MD, is a Pediatric Endocrinolgist in the Division of Pediatric Endocrinology within the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. He also serves as the Medical Director of Pediatric Endocrinology at Valley Medical Group in New Jersey.
Dr. Majumdar earned his medical degree from the University of Delhi (Maulana Azad Medical College) and completed his residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago. He performed his fellowship training in Pediatric Endocrinology at the University at Buffalo. He is board-certified in Pediatrics, Pediatric Endocrinology, and Obesity Medicine, and his research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of growth and childhood metabolic health.
Dr. Majumdar specializes in the care of children and adolescents with various endocrine and metabolic disorders, with a specific focus on youth diabetes and obesity management. In his practice, he utilizes advanced diagnostic tools such as bio-impedance analysis, point-of-care diabetes testing, and in-house diabetic eye exam.
