Irene R Boniece, MD
Neurology, Neurocritical Care
About Me
Dr. Boniece's primary clinical interests include vascular neurology and neurocritical care. Managing patients who are acutely ill from cerebrovascular and other neurological diseases requires prompt diagnosis and rapid intervention for best possible outcomes. Dr. Boniece was instrumental in creating the current Mount Sinai Beth Israel Stroke Center in 2004, which has been recognized as an American Heart Association/American Stroke Association Get With The Guidelines Gold-Plus award-winning Stroke Center for excellence in performance and providing high quality of care to our patients, and has won the Target Elite Stroke Honor Roll award for several years, because of the rapidity of our acute stroke treatment. Mount Sinai Beth Israel's Stroke Center functions as part of the Mount Sinai System-wide Center of Stroke Care, which includes rapid intra-arterial acute stroke intervention.
Dr. Boniece offers telemedicine appointments when appropriate. Please call her office to schedule a video visit.
