About Me
Ishan Sahu, M.D. is a board-certified Family Medicine Physician with fellowship training in Sports Medicine. He provides comprehensive primary care for adults, along with musculoskeletal and sports-related care for patients of all ages — with particular expertise in non-operative orthopedic care, injections, sports injuries, and concussion management. He has experience caring for athletes at all levels, from professional and collegiate competitors to weekend and amateur athletes.
Before joining Mount Sinai Health System, Dr. Sahu completed his fellowship at Atrium Health in North Carolina and focused on expanding access to care in rural communities. He has also been actively engaged in health policy advocacy at the State and National level, working with legislators on issues affecting patients and physicians. He is committed to building lasting relationships with his patients and partnering with them to reach their health and performance goals.
