Dr. Lee is an Assistant Professor of Department of Psychiatry at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Her clinical practice involves psychological services with the focus on the therapeutic alliance when engaging in surgical evaluations and psychotherapy. Dr. Lee completed her PhD in clinical psychology at Hofstra University and is a licenced clinical psychologist in the state of New York. She is currently part of the Faculty Practice Associates, Institute of Advanced Medicine, and Center for Transgender Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Lee is interested in employing cognitive behavioral strategies in her practice as well as patient-centered, humanistic approaches with heightened sensitivity to racial and gender diversity. Her biggest focus has always been bringing such awareness to clinical settings and assisting gender diverse patients and their families with their unique challenges. Her research focus has been in the field of behavioral psychology in topics relating to gender diversity.
