About Me
Dr. Jack P. Tom is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City, where he has received multiple Teacher of the Year and Mentor of the Year awards. He received his undergraduate degree at Columbia University and his medical degree at the NYU School of Medicine. Dr. Tom completed his dermatology residency at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York City. Dr. Tom has been selected as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor in the New York Metro Area for more than 20 consecutive years, and has been on the Newsday list of Top Doctors on Long Island for many year. He has also been the recipient of the Vitals Patient’s Choice Award and the Compassionate Doctor Recognition. Dr. Tom has been treating patients in the Smithtown and Stony Brook area since 1986. He is a member of the Suffolk County Medical Society and the Long Island Dermatological Society.
