About Me
Dr. Jacob Goldberg is an assistant clinical professor in the Department of Neurosurgery at The Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, specializing in minimally invasive spine surgery. Dr. Goldberg takes a thoughtful, individualized approach to patient care.
Dr. Goldberg completed neurosurgical residency training at New York Presbyterian Hospital-Cornell, Hospital for Special Surgery, and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center. During his training he completed a fellowship in minimally invasive and complex open spine surgery.
Dr. Goldberg’s clinical research interests include disc regeneration, motion preservation surgery, minimally invasive spine surgery, and patient safety. He has published over 75 peer-reviewed articles in professional journals and authored more than 15 chapters in neurosurgical textbooks.
He presents research at national and international neurosurgical conferences which has won top recognition including the AANS/CNS Spine Section J.A.N.E Award and the Charles Kuntz IV Scholar award.
