Jacob Rossmer, PsyD, Associate Clinical Director, Adult Ambulatory Psychiatric Services

Jacob Rossmer is the Associate Clinical Director of Adult Outpatient Psychiatric Services at Mount Sinai Morningside, by way of a brief stint as the Admissions Supervisor of the outpatient clinic, starting in March of 2022. Prior to Mt. Sinai, Jacob worked for many years at Creedmoor Psychiatric Center, serving in the roles of inpatient psychologist, outpatient psychologist, and Program Director of the Steinway Wellness & Recovery Center in Astoria, Queens. He started his career as a High School Mathematics teacher, teaching at schools in both New Jersey and Brooklyn. Jacob specializes in individual, couples, and group psychotherapy with adolescents, adults, and older adults; he has a special interest in working with patients of the LGBTQ+ community.
