About Me
Jaehon M. Kim MD FAAOS FACS is an academic upper extremity and microvascular surgeon at the Ichan School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. He is the Director of the Hand & Upper Extremity Fellowship at the C.V. Starr Hand Center, Director of Mount Sinai Orthopaedic Resident Research Committee and Associate Professor of Orthopedic Surgery at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. After graduating from Weill-Cornell Medical School, he received his surgical training at the Harvard Orthopedic Residency and the Curtis National Hand Center - both considered the most competitive and finest institutions in the world. His clinical productivity and surgical volume rank over the 95th percentile in the nation. Many surgeons routinely refer patients to Dr. Kim's practice for challenging reconstructive problems. Dr. Kim performs simple to complex cases, specializing in nerve reconstructions (including lower extremity), complex upper extremity fracture management, and microvascular surgeries.
Dr. Kim lives with his adoring wife and two daughters.
