Jahnavi R Naik, MD

Dr. Jahnavi Naik is a board-certified gastroenterologist with extensive experience in the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. She is committed to providing thoughtful, individualized care and believes strongly in taking the time to listen to her patients, understand their concerns, and develop treatment plans that fit their individual needs.

Dr. Naik knew from a young age that she wanted to become a physician. Her determination and passion for medicine led her to earn acceptance into the prestigious six-year combined BS/MD program at the University of Miami, securing guaranteed admission to medical school in high school. Through this accelerated program, she began medical school at age 19.

She went on to complete her residency in Internal Medicine at Emory University, followed by fellowship training in Gastroenterology at the University of Miami.

After completing her training, Dr. Naik spent nine years at Mount Sinai Beth Israel in New York City, where she cared for patients with a broad range of gastrointestinal conditions and was actively involved in the education and training of gastroenterology fellows. In 2022, she joined Mount Sinai Doctors Scarsdale, bringing her years of academic and clinical experience to patients in Westchester.

Dr. Naik treats a wide range of gastrointestinal concerns and places particular emphasis on making high-quality specialty care accessible and convenient for her patients. She offers lunchtime video visits as well as late-afternoon office appointments, providing greater flexibility for patients balancing work, family, and other responsibilities.

Above all, Dr. Naik strives to create a comfortable environment in which patients feel heard, respected, and involved in decisions about their health. Her approach combines years of clinical experience with clear communication and compassionate, personalized care.
