About Me
I am board certified in Family Medicine and Obesity Medicine (ABFM, DABOM). I hold a Masters of Science in Human Nutrition from Columbia University. I completed my medical school training at Touro University in California, and completed residence at St. John's Episcopal Hospital in NYC. I focus on healing and preventative medicine using osteopathic modalities. My goal is to use diet, exercise, and osteopathic modalities to treat each patient with a comprehensive treatment plan that addresses the root causes of disease.

The Patient Experience Star Rating reflects our patients’ perception of how well their Mount Sinai provider communicated with them during an office visit. The Star Rating is based on patient responses to three questions on a patient experience survey, a standardized questionnaire sent to verified patients and distributed by a third party vendor, Press Ganey. Responses are measured on a scale of 1 to 5, with 5 being the best score.
During my initial consultation with Dr. Friedlander, he was attentive and attentive to my concerns, demonstrating genuine care and a willingness to assist me. He was friendly and informative, which made me feel very comfortable. I was satisfied with the outcome of the appointment and felt assured after our meeting.
