James Lebret, MD
About Me
James believes in empowering his patients to be partners, personalizing wellness and treatment plans to the individual as a whole rather than focusing on symptoms alone. He sees exercise, nutrition, connectedness and sleep as the four pillars of a healthy lifestyle and disease prevention. By providing personalized care he hopes to develop and maintain long term partnerships with patients.
To stay healthy, James follows a whole food plant based diet, practices yoga, and follows a resistance training program. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his children and is currently in denial about sleep being the fourth pillar of health. He earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University, completed medical school at the primary care-centric University of Minnesota and residency at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian Hospital. He is board certified in internal medicine.
