Jane Hand, MD
About Me
Dr. Jane Hand is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Disease at Mount Sinai West and Mount Sinai Morningside. She obtained her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School, followed by residency in Internal Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital, where she also served as chief resident. She completed her fellowship in Endocrinology, Diabetes, and Bone Disease at Mount Sinai.
During her training, Dr. Hand developed a strong interest in diabetes technology and conducted research on automated insulin delivery devices in pregnant patients with diabetes. She has published her work in peer-reviewed journals and presented at national conferences. Her clinical areas of interest include diabetes, pituitary and adrenal disorders, women’s health, metabolic bone disease, and weight management.
