About Me
Dr. Jared Leventhal is a native New Yorker and board-certified noninvasive cardiologist. He graduated summa cum laude from Cornell University with a double major in biology and society, and nutritional science. He then graduated with a medical degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine. Dr. Leventhal received his internal medicine degree from Brown University where he also completed the clinician education track. He completed his cardiology fellowship as chief cardiology fellow at NYU Langone—Long Island Hospital. He then practiced cardiology at a thriving private practice affiliated with a major medical center in North Carolina. He has now been recruited back to New York City to practice cardiology with a special focus on clinical care and clinical education. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, and traveling. He is an avid tea enthusiast.
