About Me
Jasmine Catalano, DPM is a podiatrist, specializing in foot and ankle surgery, at Mount Sinai Doctors, seeing patients Monday-Friday in Chelsea. After receiving her Masters of Science in Molecular Biology and Clinical Nutrition at New York Institute of Technology, she was awarded her medical degree from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine and completed her residency in Beth Israel Medical Center. Prior to joining Mount Sinai Doctors, Dr. Catalano was the Administrative Chief Resident at Beth Israel Medical Center, was a board member of the Credentials and Staff Appointments Board at Mount Sinai Beth Israel, and participated in the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgery’s annual design competition. Dr. Catalano has annually recognized by the ACFAS Design Competition for her submission “A Multi- Disciplinary Approach to Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy: Case Series” in 2012, the Annual Nutrition Research Design Competition’s Vanessa Cappellino Award in 2005, and the Theodore K. Steele Memorial Scholarship in 2000, 2001, 2002, and 2003. In addition to her impressive surgical skills, Dr. Catalano also approaches patient care with a whole body approach. She has a particular interest in lower extremity trauma, diabetic wound care, and biomechanical foot and ankle issues.
