About Me
Dr. Jason Feinman is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and serves as faculty within the Advanced Heart Failure team. He is a native of New Jersey and completed his undergraduate education at Boston University before returning to New Jersey to obtain his medical degree at Rutgers-Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. He later moved to New York to complete his Internal Medicine residency, General Cardiology fellowship, where he served as chief cardiology fellow, and Advanced Heart Failure fellowship at the Mount Sinai Hospital. Following the completion of his training, he joined the faculty at Mount Sinai within the Advanced Heart Failure department.
In addition to caring for patients, Dr. Feinman is a passionate educator and researcher. He dedicates his time to teaching the Internal Medicine and Cardiology trainees and leading ongoing clinical research projects with a particular focus on cardiogenic shock, mechanical circulatory support, and transitions of care.
He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, Nuclear Cardiology, and Adult Echocardiography.
