About Me
Jason Perlman, MD (he/him/his) is a board-certified physician in Pediatrics and Pediatric Infection Diseases at Mount Sinai Doctors-Brooklyn Heights.
Studying at the University of Michigan, he focused on sociology and healthcare epidemiology in addition to pre-med coursework. He completed his medical degree at the Tel Aviv University American Medical School Program and then completing Pediatric Residency at Long Island College Hospital and Beth Israel Medical Center. He continued training as a Fellow in Pediatric Infection Diseases at St. Jude Children’s Hospital and SUNY Downstate Medical Centers.
Dr. Perlman has been practicing and teaching Pediatric medicine in Brooklyn, working across teaching hospitals and private practice for nearly two decades. He is passionate about microbiology and public health policy with an interest in performing research and academic teaching. Experience includes publication of peer reviewed journal articles, case discussions with the next generation of physicians and presentations at national conferences.
Dr. Jason Perlman grew up in New York City attending the Ramaz School. He recharge’s through spending time with his family and teenage son, attending Ranger games, trying different restaurants, hearing music and traveling.
