About Me
Dr. Javed Suleman has practiced Cardiology since 2000 and joined Mount Sinai in 2011. After graduating with his medical degree from Jinnah Sindh Medical University in Pakistan, Dr. Suleman completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Salem Hospital. He then went on to Worcester Medical Center/The Mount Sinai Hospital for his fellowship in Cardiology. With his board certifications in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology, Dr. Suleman's clinical interests include coronary artery disease, acute coronary syndrome, and preventative cardiology. Additionally, Dr. Suleman is bilingual and can communicate with patients in both English and Urdu.
In his professional community, Dr. Suleman is a member of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions. He explains that his drive to become a doctor stemmed from his desire to help people. When working with his patients, Dr. Suleman believes that trust is important in the doctor-patient relationship and advises those under his care that prevention is better than cure. Outside of his time in the office, Dr. Suleman enjoys philanthropic work.
