About Me
Jaeah Chung, MD, is Assistant Professor in the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai and Mount Sinai Kravis Children's Hospital. She received her medical degree from Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. She completed her Pediatric residency and Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics fellowship at Cohen Children’s Medical Center at Northwell Health. Dr. Chung specializes in the evaluation and treatment of children with developmental delays and disabilities. She works closely with families to identify a child’s behavioral and educational needs and assists in obtaining the optimal interventions.
Dr. Chung's previous research compared clinical practices and published guidelines in treatment of preschool children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). The study focused on determining which clinical factors influenced physicians' decisions to initiate pharmacotherapy in preschoolers with ADHD, and whether clinicians followed the most current guidelines regarding medication initiation and selection.
