About Me
Jennifer L. Ciuchta, DO, MS, is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and an Attending Physician in the Division of Pediatric Hospital Medicine in the Jack and Lucy Clark Department of Pediatrics at the Icahn School of Medicine and Mount Sinai Kravis Children’s Hospital. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a BS in Neuroscience. Prior to medical school, she completed a 2-year post-baccalaureate Intramural Research Training Award program at NIH at the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke. Dr. Ciuchta received her medical degree from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed her Pediatric Residency at Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center. She is a graduate from Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she earned her Master’s in Clinical Research Methods, conducting a retrospective study utilizing the Pediatric Health Information System (PHIS) database. Additionally, she completed her Pediatric Hospital Medicine Fellowship at The Children’s Hospital at Montefiore, where she led a quality improvement project involving Pediatric Early Warning Scores (PEWS).
